We still make plans, but we hold them with open hands and invite God into them. Some of the most meaningful moments in life seem to come from the paths we didn’t map out ourselves, when the Lord quietly redirects our steps. Proverbs captures that tension well—we plan our way, but God ultimately guides it. Sometimes the real beauty is simply paying attention to where He is leading instead of clinging too tightly to where we thought we were going. I’ve been reflecting on that same idea of surrendering the present moment to God here: https://theeternalnowmm.substack.com/p/the-surrender?r=71z4jh
Thanks for this! It happens to me often. I will start off with an idea and then it will morph into something else or even start afresh with something new.

That's beautiful! Thank you for sharing 😊
Amen to bringing small and big decisions to the Lord!
Yes! He wants to be involved in all of them. :)

It's beautiful how God works as we write!
